The Republic of Belarus and Tula Oblast Are Strengthening Trade and Economic Cooperation

On July 17, 2025, within the framework of the working visit to the Russian Federation of Dmitry Pantus, Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) of the Republic of Belarus, the official responsible for interaction with Tula Oblast of the Russian Federation, a meeting of the joint working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Tula Oblast of the Russian Federation was held in the city of Tula.

The participants of the meeting reviewed the state of bilateral cooperation in detail, noting the steady positive dynamics of trade turnover. The sides reaffirmed their common position that it is necessary not only to maintain this rate of trade turnover, but also to take measures to increase it.

SAMI Minister Dmitry Pantus and Governor of Tula Oblast Dmitry Milyaev signed an action plan to develop cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Tula Oblast of the Russian Federation from 2025 to 2028. This document envisages further expansion of business contacts between enterprises and organisations of the Republic of Belarus and Tula Oblast and an increase in mutual trade turnover.

The meeting was held in the format of constructive dialogue, laying the foundation for new joint projects between the Republic of Belarus and the Tula Oblast of the Russian Federation.
