Testing of the Software and Hardware System for Remote Control of Cars Has Been Successfully Completed

AGAT – Control Systems JSC and BELGEE SJSC have completed joint tests of a software and hardware system for remote control of cars (T-BOX).

The system's basis was the UVS-M emergency call device, produced in serial by AGAT – Control Systems JSC. Its main feature is integration with the vehicle's CAN bus, which provides direct software control of car systems. The device retains its basic emergency response function: if a traffic accident occurs, it automatically switches to the appropriate mode.

The tests were carried out according to the approved programme on cars produced by SJSC BELGEE. The cars were controlled remotely via a mobile application for Android and a telematics platform, both fully developed by AGAT – Control Systems JSC. Experts tested several key aspects: the remote control function itself; stable data exchange between the UVS-M device and the telematics platform; between UVS-M and the car electronics; and between the mobile application and the car.

During testing, the normal operation of all system functions was confirmed under real operating conditions.

T-BOX functionality includes a range of services available to the user via a smartphone or tablet. Thanks to it, it provides remote control of the cabin temperature, remote locking and unlocking of doors, control of power windows, sunroof, and trunk, as well as quick and accurate location determination on an interactive map, etc.

The developed solution integrates telematics and emergency call functions into a single device, enhancing car safety and ease of use. Successful completion of the tests opens the possibility of serially equipping BELGEE cars with a remote-control system that meets modern Connected Car standards.

The parties noted the successful completion of the tests and confirmed their intention to continue their cooperation in developing this project.
