Quality as a National Priority

AGAT – Control Systems JSC, the managing company of Geoinformation Control Systems Holding, held a training seminar for representatives of affiliated organisations to establish approaches and criteria for assessing quality-related activities.

During the seminar, participants learned about the lean management system. They also shared and discussed their experiences with quality management systems at their respective enterprises.

Note: The State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) has always given priority attention to the quality of manufactured products, works, and services. The five-year quality programme announced by the President of the Republic of Belarus has become an additional call for action, a systemic rethinking of processes, standards, and quality management philosophy. At present, SAMI organisations focus their work on personnel training and quality control of manufactured products, introduction of new technologies and production methods, encouragement of the best employees for achievements both in the field of new developments and in maintaining a high level of quality.
