NIIEVM Has Applied for the State Quality Mark to Its Products

On 18 January, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the Decree “On the State Quality Mark”. This normative legal act was followed up on 29 March this year by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 224 “On the Procedure for Assigning the State Quality Mark”. According to the Resolution approved by the government, the Mark is annually awarded to food products, industrial goods for the population, products of industrial and technical purpose, produced by legal entities of the Republic of Belarus and corresponding to safety, environmental friendliness, innovation, technological edge and aesthetics.

Many organisations of the defence sector of the economy are constantly engaged to a greater or lesser degree in the development and production of civilian products. And the twenty-year history of the national military industry proves with all conviction that such products of the Belarusian defence industry are very much in demand both in the domestic and foreign markets. That is why it is not surprising that the management and the labour collective of NIIEVM JSC decided to apply for assigning the State Quality Mark to the new versions of turnstiles produced at the enterprise and installed at the stations of the third underground line – automatic gate-type control point PKA-K-M and automatic control point AKP-2014.

The Republican Attestation Commission of the Council of Ministers will give the results of the product evaluation.
