Minsk and Tehran Are Interested in Strengthening Strategic Relations

On March 12, 2025, the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) of the Republic of Belarus hosted official negotiations between SAMI Minister Dmitry Pantus and Minister of Defence and Support of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed ongoing projects related to military-technical cooperation between Belarus and Iran and identified promising avenues for further expansion. They emphasized the need to intensify collaboration, considering both countries' scientific capabilities and modern challenges and threats.

The meeting was another step towards strengthening the strategic relations between Minsk and Tehran and demonstrated the two countries' determination to step up joint efforts in the interest of building an equal multipolar world.
