Mass Production of the “Rodnik-3D” Radar Has Begun
On the eve of Victory Day, JSC “KB Radar” has completed the assembly of the first production model of the latest “Rodnik-3D” three-coordinate radar station for detecting low-altitude aerial targets.
The domestic leader in radar and electronic warfare has commenced mass production of a high-tech system for detecting and tracking small aerial targets, specifically developed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles.
The radar’s performance has been successfully verified during state trials. The compact, mobile “Rodnik-3D” station can detect small multicopters at up to 7 km and fixed-wing UAVs at up to 12 km.
A key feature of this product is its versatility. The radar can be mounted either on a mobile chassis for rapid deployment from unprepared positions or on fixed masts as part of critical infrastructure protection systems.
Work on improving the performance of the “Rodnik-3D” radar will continue.
