JSC Peleng Participated in Events Celebrating the 190th Anniversary of the Russian Hydrometeorological Service
From October 29 to 31, 2024, St. Petersburg hosted "Weather—Climate—Water / Earth Remote Sensing / Green Economy," one of the largest international exhibitions focused on hydrometeorology, environmental monitoring, Earth remote sensing, and the green economy. JSC Peleng participated in the event.
On November 1, 2024, a ceremonial opening was held for a new weather station equipped with Belarusian technology at the Russian State Hydrometeorological University's (RSHU) first academic building. The equipment was provided to the university free of charge for temporary use in educational activities. A cooperation agreement and a contract for the provision of the equipment were signed earlier this year, in March, between the Belarusian company and the Russian university.
Nikolai Rogozhnik, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in St. Petersburg, along with representatives from Belhydromet, Roshydromet, RSHU, and JSC Peleng, attended the ceremonial launch of the weather station.
