From February 20 to 23, 2025, after concluding his participation in the International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment IDEX-2025, Dmitry Pantus, the Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI), continued his international tour to countries in the "far arc".

As part of the official visit of the Belarusian delegation led by Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko to Uganda, Dmitry Pantus signed a memorandum of understanding with Jacob Marksons Oboth, the Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs of Uganda. This agreement lays the groundwork for enhancing bilateral military-technical cooperation in various areas.

Commenting on the results of the work within the framework of the official visit of the government delegation to the State of Qatar, Dmitry Pantus emphasised the discussions around new areas of collaboration. “This includes training and joint development, which are very important. Today, simply selling a product is not enough; a comprehensive approach is essential. In this regard, we are ready to offer our friends and partners comprehensive solutions”.

SAMI Minister also noted that during his visit to Qatar detailed discussions took place regarding the preparation of a roadmap for cooperation with Barzan Holding. Key areas for potential collaboration were identified, and he expressed confidence that this roadmap would be signed soon.
