Working Visit by the SAMI Minister to the Orsha District

On April 17, 2026, Dmitry Pantus, Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI), undertook a working visit to the Orsha District. The head of the arms agency took part in a meeting of the Orsha District Executive Committee, at which the results of implementing the Orsha District development programme for 2021–2025 were reviewed and priority tasks for the current year were identified. 

The attendance of the head of SAMI at the meeting underscores a unified approach to the region’s development. Coordinated efforts by national and local authorities aim to ensure the full implementation of state programmes and strengthen the country’s technological sovereignty.

Dmitry Pantus also visited Legmash Plant JSC – one of the region’s key defence industry enterprises, which plays an important role in ensuring the country’s technological security. He familiarised himself with the implementation of the investment project and the prospects for technical re-equipment, the progress of construction of new factory facilities and infrastructure modernisation, the fulfilment of state production programmes and capacity utilisation, and the construction of a residential building for factory workers.
