Viachaslau Rassalai Appointed Deputy Minister of SAM

On 7 September 2020, during the scheduled videoconference, Minister of State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus (SAMI) Dzmitry Pantus presented Viachaslau Rassalai as the Deputy Minister of SAMI to the chiefs of the central office departments and the board of directors of the enterprises. He was appointed to the post by Belarusian President’s Decree No. 334 of 3 September 2020.

Characterising Viachaslau Rassalai, the head of SAMI emphasised his profound professional experience, in particular, his work in the authority, where he rose from a consultant of the department of industrial production of the directorate of industry to the deputy chief of the directorate - head of the department of industrial development of the directorate of economy and industrial development. Dzmitry Pantus noted that the new deputy has experience in the defence sector of the economy, is familiar with the heads of organisations and the enterprises’ specificities, thereby enabling him to get feel of the position more quickly and delve into the complex tasks that SAMI faces.
