The Chassis Manufactured by MWTP JSC Has Become a Reliable Foundation for the Russian fleet of Hydraulic Fracture Treatment

In early April, a ceremony was held at MeKaMineft's production site in Megion (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra) to mark the start of mass production of the first entirely Russian fleet of hydraulic fracture treatment (HFT) * units.

The company’s management notes the great contribution of Belarusian partners to this matter, in particular, one of the leading enterprises of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) – Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC. In August 2025, a batch of unique five-axle, all-wheel-drive MZKT-750005-010 (10x10 wheel arrangement) chassis was shipped to the project partners. All vehicles covered more than 4,000 km under their own power and arrived at the equipment installation site, thereby confirming the high quality and reliability of the assembly guaranteed by SAMI.

The MZKT-750005-010 chassis is designed specifically for installing hydraulic fracture treatment – a key technology in modern oil production. A load capacity of up to 42 tonnes, combined with a five-axle all-wheel drive, ensures high maneuverability on difficult routes and unrestricted mobility. An important competitive advantage is the chassis configuration, which allows you to operate on public roads without special permits, a critical feature when changing objects frequently.

At the customer’s request, the chassis is equipped with a double all-metal cabin with two berths. For comfort on long flights, additional devices are provided: a pre-start liquid engine heater, an autonomous cabin heater, air conditioning, a radio, USB ports, power windows, central locking, and power mirrors. The driver and passenger seats are mounted on air suspension, providing comfort even during multi-kilometre vehicle hauls.

*The term HFT fleet refers to the complete set of equipment necessary to carry out full-scale hydraulic fracturing, regardless of other operations performed.
