Testing of TV Channel Package Delivery Begins

National System of Satellite Communication and Broadcast of the Republic of Belarus has begun testing the delivery of the country’s mandatory public service television package to cable operators in HD format.

Delivery is in closed (encrypted) form, and only cable operators of the Republic of Belarus have access to testing this service.

It’s worth noting: the upgraded equipment makes it possible to provide a high quality service for the delivery and broadcasting of TV channels not only in Belarus, but also for the countries of Europe and Africa.

More than 200 channels are now broadcast via Belintersat-1 to Europeans and Africans, including more than 100 in HD format.
