Strategic Dialogue

On July 30, 2026, a working meeting took place at the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) between Dmitry Pantus, Minister of SAMI of the Republic of Belarus, and Alexander Mikheev, CEO of Rosoboronexport JSC.

The parties discussed a wide range of bilateral military-technical cooperation issues. Particular attention was paid to the progress of ongoing joint projects and the fulfilment of contractual obligations, as well as to deepening cooperative ties between the defence enterprises of Belarus and Russia. Promising areas of cooperation in the development, modernisation and promotion of high-tech weapons and military equipment, including for the benefit of third countries, were also addressed.

A high level of bilateral cooperation was noted, and the commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership in the interests of ensuring the defence capability and technological sovereignty of the Union State was reaffirmed.
