SAMI Has Decided on the Participation in International Exhibitions of Arms and Military Equipment
In 2022, the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) and defence industry organisations of the Republic of Belarus will take part in 38 international exhibitions of arms and military equipment to be held in 25 countries in all regions of the world. A joint stand of SAMI is planned to be formed at the six major exhibition forums. The Belarusian defence industry will thus be represented at the International Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference UMEX 2022 (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), the International Military-Technical Forum Army 2022 (Kubinka, Russian Federation), the Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition ADEX 2022 (Baku, Azerbaijan), the International Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2022 (Jakarta, Indonesia) and some others.
Participating enterprises will form collective and independent expositions at another 32 exhibitions. A number of organisations will take part in the exhibitions in absentee format, and also organise business visits to representative forums.
23 SAMI companies and 14 defence industry enterprises are expected to take part in the exhibition.
Belarusian armoures will present samples of their high-tech products in a wide range of weapons, military and special equipment – unmanned aircraft systems and countermeasures, surface-to-air missile systems, communications and automated control systems, multiple launch rocket systems, armoured vehicles, robotic systems, reconnaissance and electronic countermeasures, small arms and ammunition, as well as a number of other areas of warfare means.
Representatives of the Belarusian military-industrial complex will take part in demonstration programmes of running characteristics and firing capabilities of various models of military equipment, events in the format of scientific and practical conferences, seminars, plenary sessions, roundtables, and presentations of new technologies and models of weapons and military equipment.
Participation in exhibitions will help promote a positive image of the Republic of Belarus in the international arena, enhance the export potential of the military-industrial complex, expand the competence of Belarusian specialists in organising and conducting advertising and exhibition activities.
