SAMI and BELPROFMASH Signed a Tariff Agreement

On March, 23, the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) signed a Tariff Agreement between the Belarusian Trade Union of Industrial Workers “BELPROFMASH”, the Republican Association of Industrial Enterprises “BelAPP”, the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, and the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus for 2026–2028. The document was signed by the Minister of SAMI, Dmitry Pantus, and the Chairman of the “BELPROFMASH” trade union, Valery Kursevich.

This document is the basis for concluding collective agreements, as well as labour agreements (contracts) with employees of industry organisations - members of the “BELPROFMASH” trade union. The provisions of the agreement included in collective agreements cannot be changed in a direction that reduces the social, legal, and economic protection of workers. This norm is a fundamental condition for building effective social partnerships in SAMI organisations.

The agreement is comprehensive: it covers not only issues of remuneration and labour protection, but also establishes key obligations in the field of improving the standard of living and social security of personnel, ensuring occupational safety, as well as developing a culture of healthy lifestyle in teams.

Evidence of the high confidence of arms industry workers in the trade union movement is the fact that currently more than 94 % of employees of departmental organisations are members of the trade union. In total, 23 trade union organisations are actively operating at SAMI. At four enterprises, 100 % of the workforce is part of trade unions, and at another 11 enterprises, the coverage of the trade union movement exceeds 90 %.
