Representatives of Goscomvoyenprom and Defence Sector among Man of Business 2017 Competition Winners

The public editorial board of the Delo (Vostok + Zapad) magazine summed up the results of the Man of Business competition and announced the winners, among which are heads of the most effective domestic and foreign companies operating in the Belarusian market.
As the organisers noted, in the business community the Man of Business competition is called the ‘Oscars ceremony’ for the Belarusian business. It presents companies with world-wide names and a developed network of branches, including businesses in the field of information and high-precision scientific technologies that create an image of the IT-country for Belarus.
This year, the prestigious competition was held for the 21st time. A total of 180 candidates competed for the title of the best.
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the Man of Business 2017 competition took place in the Palace of the Republic on 6 July.
Igor Sadovsky, director of KB Radar, management company of the Radar Systems Holding, became the best in the nomination “For a Significant Contribution to the Development of Foreign Economic Relations of Belarus”.
Alexei Shkadarevich, director of LEMT BelOMO Scientific and Technical Centre, became a winner in the nomination “For the Successful Application of Anti-Crisis Technologies and Management Methods”.
Winners of the Man of Business 2017 competition were awarded certificates by the magazine’s editorial staff and memorable prizes – sculptures by Belarusian artist Sergei Gumilevsky.
In different years, representatives of Goscomvoyenprom and defence sector became the winners of the competition: in 2009 – Vladimir Pokryshkin, director general of Peleng; in 2013 – Vitaly Vovk, director general of the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant; in 2015 – Leonid Avgul, director of the DELS Scientific and Technical Centre.
