Preliminary Tests of the Kaskad-MB Artillery Meteorological and Ballistic System Successfully Completed

VOLATAVTO JSC has successfully completed preliminary testing of its proprietary Kaskad-MB artillery meteorological and ballistic system. The system automatically measures weather parameters (surface atmospheric pressure, air temperature, wind speed, and direction) via an integrated weather station, as well as ballistic parameters (muzzle velocity and propellant temperature) using a radar ballistic station and a remote temperature gauge. Collected data is wirelessly transmitted directly to the battery senior officer's automated workstation.

Based on these measurements, Kaskad-MB calculates deviations from tabular firing conditions, determines necessary corrections, and generates ready-to-use firing solutions. This significantly reduces fire preparation time and improves accuracy.

By leveraging its ballistic station, Kaskad-MB provides an exceptionally precise solution to the most labor-intensive aspect of ballistic preparation: determining total projectile muzzle velocity deviations.
