MZKT Participates in 13th Moscow International Oil and Gas Exhibition

The 13th Moscow International Oil and Gas Exhibition MIOGE 2015 was held at the Expocentre in Russia’s capital from 23 to 26 June. The event is a top five trade exhibition worldwide and the largest oil and gas exhibition in Russia. The best innovations in the field of oil and gas extraction, transportation and processing of hydrocarbons are showcased to professionals in the industry.

This year’s MIOGE attracted about 700 leading oil, gas and energy companies from 30 countries.

Germany, Italy, China, the USA and Finland had the national expositions. Among the participants were four Belarusian companies, one of which was the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT).

The visitors could see the Volat special chassis as part of the M30T coiled tubing unit in the outdoor exhibition pavilion of the partner company Fidmash.

At present, MZKT is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-capacity all-terrain motor vehicles that are capable of operating in a wide range of climatic conditions.

One of the priority areas in which Volat has achieved success is the production of special chassis for mobile drilling units and oil and gas equipment (coiled tubing, pumping and other equipment). Volat’s product range offers customers great freedom of choice in three main classes: chassis for mobile drilling units with a load capacity of 80-100 tonnes, chassis for mobile drilling units with a load capacity of 125-140 tonnes, heavy chassis for mobile drilling units with a load capacity of over 160 tonnes.

The company’s off-road vehicles for transportation of pipes of up to 36 metres in length, four- and six-axle chassis for well drilling and workover equipment, as well as eight-axle chassis and three-axle semi-trailers with coiled tubing units being mounted on them are always in demand by those who are engaged in oil and gas exploration and extraction.

MZKT successfully cooperates with the Russian largest oil and gas companies, including Surgutneftegas. In 2013, the MZKT-74131 and the MZKT-742900 tractor units for the transportation of special equipment were delivered to Surgutneftegas with the involvement of the Belmash-Yugra company as a dealer.

Having received an order from Idelneftemash (the town of Ishimbay, Russia), MZKT developed the MZKT-652716 special chassis for the new mobile drilling unit Idel-80.
