Multiple-launch rocket systems Fleita, Vistl unveiled during Victory Day parade in Minsk

Small-range multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) Fleita and Vistl were demonstrated for the first time before the public during the army parade in Minsk on 9 May.

The parade unit of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus featured cutting-edge weapon systems and military hardware. The small-range multiple-launch rocket systems Fleita and Vistl were among them.

MRLS Fleita is mounted on the lightly armored vehicle Asilak SHTS with a 4x4 wheel arrangement. The MLRS can fire 80 missiles with high precision at enemy personnel, armored vehicles, and defensive installations. It uses unguided missiles with various payloads to deliver strikes as far as 1-3km.

The vehicle is equipped with an automated control system and an onboard navigation system. It needs only 30 seconds to prepare for launch. The lightly armored vehicle makes Fleita highly mobile. The vehicle also offers reliable protection against small-arms fire as well as mines and explosive devices.

The robot complex Vistl is a ground unmanned low-signature combat vehicle. It is equipped with a rotating platform to fire a payload of 18 57mm missiles.

Thanks to electronically enhanced optics and AI-powered data processing, the robot complex can detect targets up to 3.5km away.

The robot is controlled remotely by radio using a patented jamming-resistant technology. It can work autonomously for up to 24 hours.

The Fleita system was first revealed during a session of the board of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus in Minsk on 31 January. It is the first time the Vistl complex has been demonstrated.
