Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC Unveils VOLAT MZKT-600203 at Automotive Congress

In early October 2019, the most important forum of the Old World — the 16th European Automotiye  Congress (EAEC 2019)  was attended by leading industry professionals in Minsk. More than 100 delegates from 30 countries of Europe, Asia, America and Africa exchanged knowledge and formed joint areas of work to create a nonpolluting, safe, modern automobile transport. Delegations of such world-known higher educational institutions as Technical University of Dresden (Germany), Northeastern University (Shenyang, China), the University of Belgrade (Serbia), the Warsaw University of Technology (Poland), Graz University of Technology (Austria) and a number of other universities visited the congress.

The opening ceremony was also attended by FISITA Vice-President, EAEC President Günter Hohl (Austria), SAE Vice-President — Americas and Africa Murli Iyer (USA), FISITA executive director Chris Mason (the UK).

Honorary guest of the Сongress, Minister of Education of Belarus Igor Karpenko noted that Minsk Automobile Plant JSC (МAZ), Minsk Tractor Works JSC (MTW), Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC (MWTP), BELAZ JSC, AMKODOR JSC are Belarusian brands that are well recognised all over the world. In view of this, it is no coincidence that Belarus hosts EAEC 2019. According to Igor Karpenko, domestic experts objectively assess the modern challenges of the automotive industry, increase safety, reduce the environmental damage caused by vehicles, and introduce innovations. At the same time, their need for new knowledge and new ideas is growing.

From 7 to 10 October, technological information and trends driving the automotive industry were demonstrated at the National Library of Belarus and on the area in front of it. For example, MWTP JSC unveiled the VOLAT MZKT-600203 vehicle for the participants. The choice of model is determined by the great prospects of tactical vehicles family under the VOLAT brand, as well as interest shown by foreign customers.
