Mikhail Demchenko Was Elected Director of AGAT-Control Systems
On 13 June, the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko gave his consent to appoint Mikhail Demchenko Director of AGAT-Control Systems, who from August 2014 had held the position of Deputy Director for Commercial Matters.
On 13 June, by the decision of the Supervisory Board of Directors of AGAT-Control Systems Mikhail Demchenko was elected Director of the company. From the 14th of June he assumed his duties.
Yuri Mosiyenko was released from his duties of the Director of AGAT – Control Systems by the same decision.
On 14 June, Chairman of Goscomvoyenprom Sergei Gurulev handed the service certificate to the newly elected Director of AGAT-Control Systems.
Presenting Mikhail Demchenko to the management of the company and directors of the companies of the Geoinformation Control Systems holding, Sergei Gurulev mentioned his managerial competence, professional and leadership skills, and statesmanship approach to the business. He also wished Mikhail Demchenko success in the new position and implementation of the set tasks. These tasks include dynamic development of the company, promotion of the company's competitiveness to develop and produce the whole range of products, further development of inter-sectoral linkages and scientific and industrial cooperation in the domestic market and with foreign partners both, as well as conduct of effective marketing strategy to create favourable conditions for consolidating positions in the traditional markets and taking on new ones.
Chairman of Goscomvoyenprom awarded with the Diploma of Merit and thanked Yuri Mosiyenko for many years of fruitful work, great professionalism and personal contribution to the dynamic development of AGAT-Control Systems, which he had run for 12 years. During these years he established and further developed the integrated structure (Geoinformation Control Systems holding) in Goscomvoyenprom, successfully implemented the Combat Geoinformation System complex project, in the framework of which about two dozen types of different automation systems for different troops, UASs of various ranges at the tactical level, mobile communication systems and other military products were developed and put into production. Yuri Mosiyenko also developed new promising areas in the company and founded a number of successful scientific schools of system engineers, signal operators, circuit designers, algorithms experts, mathematicians, programmers, designers, and technologists.
Sergei Gurulev also expressed his confidence that in the new position of assistant director Yuri Mosiyenko would help the new director and share his own directorship experience and knowledge.
