Meeting with the Ambassador

On July 28, 2026, Dmitry Pantus, Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI), met with Maung Maung Soe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Belarus.

During the talks, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to expanding and deepening military-technical cooperation. The discussion focused primarily on further strengthening Myanmar’s defence capabilities and security.

The Belarusian side expressed its readiness to offer its partners comprehensive solutions backed by years of proven experience and reliability. The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and laid the groundwork for further practical cooperation.
