Goscomvoyenprom Chairman Visits China

From 1 to 3 November 2018, Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee (Goscomvoyenprom) Roman Golovchenko was on a visit to the People’s Republic of China.
During the visit, Roman Golovchenko took part in the 3rd meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee chaired by the heads of the national parts – Nikolai Snopkov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, and Guo Shengkun, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Political and Legal Affairs Commission. During the meeting, the parties discussed a set of bilateral cooperation issues, summed up the implementation of the decisions of the 2nd committee meeting, as well as defined new tasks for the near future.
Within the framework of the visit to Beijing, Chairman of Goscomvoyenprom Roman Golovchenko held a number of bilateral meetings and negotiations with Director of the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence Zhang Kejian, Chairman of the Board of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Wu Yansheng, and Vice President of China North Industries Corporation NORINCO Wang Chuan.
During the meetings, the participants discussed a wide range of issues concerning Belarusian-Chinese military-technical cooperation, exchanged specific proposals for its further development, and also identified promising areas of mutually profitable partnership.
