Gennady Kazakov Elected Director of AGAT-Control Systems

On 17 April, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko approved the appointment of Gennady Kazakov, who since August 2005 was Chief of Signals of the Armed Forces, Chief of the Signals Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as Director of AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding.
On 2 May, by the decision of the supervisory board, he was elected Director of AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding, and from that day he began to fulfil his duties of the head of the company.
Introducing the newly elected director of AGAT-Control Systems to the company’s administration and employees, as well as to directors of companies within the holding, Chairman of the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee Sergei Gurulev noted his managerial competence, professional and organisational abilities and a statesmanlike approach, as well as knowledge of products manufactured by the company. He wished Gennady Kazakov success in his new position and implementation of the tasks of the dynamic development of the company, ensuring the competitiveness of the company, developing and producing the full range of products, further developing inter-branch relations and scientific and production cooperation both in the domestic market and with foreign partners, carrying out an effective marketing policy to create favourable conditions for securing a foothold in traditional markets and searching for and entering new markets.
Earlier, by the decision of the supervisory board of 2 May 2017, Mikhail Demchenko was dismissed from the position of Director of AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding and transferred to the position of Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs.
Sergei Gurulev expressed confidence that, being in a new position, he would help the newly elected director and share his experience and knowledge in the management of the company.
AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding is a diversified enterprise and one of the country’s leading companies specialising in the development of general and special-purpose automated control systems, hardware and software systems, including communications systems, computers, testing and measuring equipment, life support and power supply systems.
