From -50 to +65°C

Developed by specialists at Peleng JSC, the DO-22 precipitation sensor operates reliably in conditions ranging from Arctic cold to extreme heat. Its IP66-rated enclosure protects against dust, high-pressure water jets, and harsh environments, while a heated receiving orifice (funnel) ensures accurate precipitation measurements in sub-zero temperatures.

The DO-22 serves as a direct replacement for foreign analogs. Protocol-level compatibility allows the system to recognize the sensor as a native unit without requiring any software or infrastructure modifications. The device processes standard requests using identical commands and data formats.

Thanks to its versatility and high level of environmental protection, the DO-22 is ideal for modernizing meteorological networks, deploying at facilities with mixed equipment fleets (combining legacy and modern systems), and ensuring autonomous operation with easy maintenance.

Designed for integration into modern meteorological networks, the DO-22 fully complies with World Meteorological Organization (WMO) precipitation measurement standards.

Following tests conducted in 2024–2025 at the WMO testing facility, the DO-22 precipitation sensor was recommended by the Voeikov Main Geophysical Observatory (FSBI "MGO") for deployment across Roshydromet's national meteorological observation network.
