For the Comfort of Passengers on the Minsk Metro
JSC NIIEVM, the long-standing developer of all generations of turnstiles for the Moscow Metro, has launched a new model – the Automated Universal Control Post (AUCP) – into operational trials.
The product was developed in accordance with the technical specifications provided by the Minsk Metro State Enterprise on a modern element base. The traditional turnstile barriers have been replaced by a gate mechanism, making the passage visually open, smooth and intuitive, with a wide information screen. The QR code for the “Oplati” service is now displayed directly on the screen, speeding up payments and passage. All the usual payment methods have been retained: tokens, smart cards, bank cards and “Oplati”.
Particular attention has been paid to reliability and modern design: the structure is made of stainless steel, and the modular design enables quick maintenance and the addition of new features in the future.
A new AUCP has been installed at the “Lenin Square” Metro station for operational trials. Experts will assess whether the post fully complies with the Metro system’s requirements.
