Experts of AGAT – Control Systems Demonstrate UAVs Capabilities to Control Power Lines

On 4-5 March 2016, experts AGAT- Control Systems took part in a meeting on the issues of improving of stability of electrical networks to natural disasters.
The meeting was held under guidance of Alexander Sivak, the first deputy general director, chief engineer of Belenergo. It took place at the branch of Slutsk Electrical Networks. The event was attended by representatives of Belenergo and ODU, chief engineers and heads of electrical networks services of Oblenergo, etc.
On 4 March, representatives of AGAT- Control Systems held a presentation on the Employment of UAVs in the Interests of Belenergo.
On 5 March, a practical demonstration of the possibilities of UAVs with employment of 10-110 kV power lines in the region of Starye Dorogi was held. There were demonstrated launch, landing, and flights of UAVs and their capabilities.
The report and demonstration flights aroused interest among the participants. AGAT is ready to provide UAVs for the energy industry of the Republic of Belarus.
