Executives and Employees of Goscomvoyenprom Companies Awarded State Awards

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards to representatives of all walks of life in recognition of their many years of fruitful work, exemplary performance of official duties and significant personal contribution to the development and upgrade of military and special equipment.
According to Alexander Lukashenko, fame always finds those who work to the benefit of the Homeland, those for whom the highest reward is primarily the result of their activities.
“Such people, passionate about their work, true professionals and patriots, are here now. You are a tower of strength for our state. Being exemplary specialists, you do much more than commendation lists can say. You are the best example of excellence and personal success for those who are next to you. It means, you make a difference,” the President said.
A large group of executives and employees of Goscomvoyenprom companies was awarded orders and medals.
The Order of Honour was awarded to Igor Sadovsky, the director of KB Radar JSC – Managing Company of Radar Systems Holding; Alexander Churyakov, the director of the 140 Repair Plant JSC; Sergei Botenovsky, the chairman of the board of directors at Scientific Production Limited Liability Company OKB TSP; and Igor Letov, the general director of Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC.
On behalf of the head of state, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov presented state awards to the distinguished people of the country. More than 160 people are in the list of awardees. High awards were given to representatives of Goscomvoyenprom companies.
The Medal for Labour Merits was awarded to Sergei Malakhovsky, the chief technologist, head of the chief technologist department at Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC; Sergei Zhibul, the head of the department at KB Radar JSC – Managing Company of Radar Systems Holding; Vasily Varaksa, the head of the machine assembly shop No. 9 at Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC and others.
Andrei Kobyakov expressed confidence that the future of industry is based on the introduction of advanced technologies and production of new competitive products, and all conditions have been created for this.
