Effective Weapon Against Drones

On March, 16-20, the troops of the Northwestern Operational Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus held a special tactical exercise with an electronic warfare unit. The military personnel worked out the full range of tasks to protect troops from modern threats – from detecting and jamming unmanned aerial vehicles to ensuring stable control of their units amid dense electronic countermeasures.

Weapons developed by JSC “KB Radar” played a special role during the exercise. In conditions as close as possible to combat, modern jamming stations that recently entered service have successfully proven themselves.

These complexes are designed for detection, direction finding, position determination, and radio jamming of radio communication lines. Due to the power of the emitted signals and the height of the antennas, they are most effective in countering unmanned aerial vehicles.

Scenario testing was carried out around the clock, simulating a dense radio-electronic background and active interaction with reconnaissance, artillery, and air defence units. This approach enabled the formation of a unified system to counter drones and electronic threats.
