Deviations Close to Zero

During the implementation of the Radioelectronics-3 state scientific and technical programme for 2016–2020, State Authority for Military Industry as a state customer organises the development of a new generation of electronic and optoelectronic equipment, devices and systems for general industrial, special and dual use in cooperation with scientific organisations.
Within the framework of the Special and Dual-Use Radioelectronic and Optoelectronic Equipment subprogramme, MNIPI JSC, which is a general contractor, has developed a new device – calibrator I-4 301/1. The equipment is designed to reproduce the voltage and force of direct and alternating currents in metrological control and adjustment of electrical measuring instruments. The product was unveiled at MILEX 2019.
The calibrator’s main feature is that it is made in a portable impact-resistant rugged housing that can withstand even the most demanding conditions. This allows you to use the product directly at the place of operation of measuring equipment. In addition, a USB interface allows you to use the calibrator in automated measurement systems.
The calibrator converts the numerical value of the reproduced signal entered by the operator from the keyboard console into an analogue signal using a digital-to-analogue converter, generates an output current or voltage from this signal, depending on the type of work, followed by fixing the data with an integrated digital voltmeter. The resulting information is used to correct the code loaded into the digital-to-analogue converter to minimise the deviation of the output value from the specified value.
It is noteworthy that the main components are mounted on domestically produced printed circuit boards.
Interest in the product was shown by visitors at the MILEX 2019 arms exhibition in Minsk and the ARMY 2019 international military-technical forum, which was held in Moscow region in June.
