Chairman of State Military Industrial Committee Included in Belarus Security Council

By the Presidential Decree No. 49 of 1 February 2018, the composition of the Security Council was updated. The document was published on 3 February at the National Legal Internet Portal.

According to the document, the composition of the Belarus Security Council, which was approved by the Presidential Decree No. 7 of 13 January 2016, includes Natalya Kochanova, Head of the President Administration; Oleg Dvigalev, Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee; and Anatoly Lappo, Chairman of the State Border Committee.

Excluded from the Security Council are Alexander Kosinets (Head of the President Administration until December 2016), Sergei Gurulev (Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee until mid-June 2017), and Leonid Maltsev (retired as Chairman of the State Border Committee in December 2016).

The decree came into force after its official publication.
