Certified Quality

On 2 October 2014, a seminar on the issues of quality management system in Goscomvoyenprom companies was held at the 558th Aircraft Repair Plant. It was headed by Valery Pinchuk, Goscomvoyenprom deputy head of directorate of economic and industrial development, and Andrei Tuchin, chief plant engineer.

The seminar was attended by companies` deputy directors who are responsible for quality assurance, heads of technical control departments, as well as members of the Belarusian Armed Forces and military representative offices responsible for control, operation and repair of military equipment. They discussed the issues of organisation of the quality management system and set up top-priority events to improve the quality of manufactured product at the stages of designing, pilot-planning, manufacturing, incoming/outgoing inspection and full after-sales service.

The emphasis was made on the efficiency of details purchase system and on the events that stimulate personnel to assure product quality.

During the practical class, right in the workshops and storage room of the aircraft repair plant, the participants of the seminar could evaluate the work on repair quality assurance, as well as the incoming inspection, storing and transportation of the product to the production departments. They also estimated the technological process of build-up and performance of aircraft testing.

Besides, at the seminar the issues of the role and place of the defence ministry representative offices in the quality assurance system were raised. As well, they discussed the procedure of interaction of these offices with the companies under control of Goscomvoyenprom.

Since 2015, seminars with Goscomvoyenprom organisations on the corresponding topics will be held twice a quarter.
