Call for Belarus-Turkey tighter cooperation in military technology

Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus Oleg Dvigalev spoke in favor of taking Belarus-Turkey military and technical cooperation to the next level as he met with Ismail Demir, Undersecretary of the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries under the Turkish National Defense Ministry. A delegation of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus is taking part in the military technology expo KADEX 2018, which is taking place in the military sector of the Astana International Airport on 23-26 May. Oleg Dvigalev met with Ismail Demir on the sidelines of the KADEX 2018 expo. The sides discussed a broad range of matters concerning the bilateral relations with a focus on advancing military technology cooperation, including within the framework of the Belarusian-Turkish committee on implementing the Belarusian-Turkish intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the area of defense industry. Oleg Dvigalev also visited exhibition stands of Turkish companies such STM, Havelsan, and other ones.
