Belarus, UAE to cooperate in defense industry
he Belarusian State Military-Industrial Committee will cooperate with Tawazun Holding from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Taking into account friendly relationship between Belarus and the UAE, the Belarusian State Military-Industrial Committee and the Tawazun Economic Council signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the defense industry. The document was signed during the 13th International Defense Exhibition IDEX 2017 in Abu-Dhabi. “The memorandum is aimed to lay the basis for bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest,” the press service noted. Tawazun Holding was founded in 2007 by the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It carries out projects to attract modern technologies to the country, collaborates with the world's leading companies and is generally known as an international investor.
