Belarus and Sudan Identify Promising Areas of Mutually Beneficial Military-Technical Cooperation

From 31 July to 2 August 2018, the third meeting of the Belarusian-Sudanese intergovernmental commission on military-technical cooperation was held in Khartoum.
The Belarusian part of the commission was headed by Deputy Сhairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus, the Sudanese part - Deputy Director General of the Defence Industry System of Sudan (MASAD) Omer Zeynalabdin.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the implementation of the decisions of the commission’s previous meeting held in May 2017 in Minsk, as well as identified promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Also during the visit to the Republic of the Sudan, the head of the Belarusian delegation Dmitry Pantus held a series of meetings and talks with the State Minister of Sudan Mr. Ali Salim, and the Director General of the Defence Industry System of Sudan Mr. Mohamed Elhassan Abdallah.
