Belarus and China Identify Promising Areas of Mutually Beneficial Military-Technical Cooperation

The 15th meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Coordination Committee on Armaments Cooperation was held in Beijing on 27-29 June 2018. The Belarusian part of the Committee was headed by Chairman of Goscomvoyenprom Maj. Gen. Oleg Dvigalev, the Chinese part was led by Lt. Gen. Liu Sheng, Deputy Director of the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the People’s Republic of China.
The parties discussed the results of the implementation of the decisions of the Committee’s previous meeting held in October 2016 in China, as well as identified promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
During his visit to China, Oleg Dvigalev held a series of meetings and talks with the leadership of the CMC Equipment Development Department, the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, and with the leadership of a number of Chinese corporations.
