Belarus and Vietnam Meet in Da Nang

From 28 to 29 November 2019, a Belarus-Vietnam commission on military-technical cooperation was held in Da Nang. The Belarusian part of the commission was headed by Minister of SAMI Roman Golovchenko. Col. Gen. Be Xuan Truong, Deputy Minister of National Defence of Vietnam led the Vietnamese part of the commision.

The parties discussed the implementation of decisions of the previous previous commission’s meeting held in November 2018 in Minsk and identified promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation. Following the meeting, a final protocol was signed and a military cooperation plan between SAMI and Ministry of National Defence of Vietnam for 2020 was approved.

During the visit, the Belarusian delegation attended an aircraft repair plant, familiarised themselves with production and technological capabilities of the enterprise and held negotiations on promising joint projects.
