Belarus and Azerbaijan Dynamically and Progressively Develop Military-Technical Cooperation

On 7 December 2021, the Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus (SAMI) Dmitry Pantus met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev.

During the meeting, it was emphasised that comprehensive cooperation is developing dynamically and progressively between Belarus and Azerbaijan, including in the military-technical sphere. The visit of Aleksandr Lukashenko to Baku in 2021 became an important milestone in bilateral relations.

Dmitry Pantus informed Ulvi Bakhshaliyev that SAMI actively cooperates with the military department and the Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan, and regular contact has been established with their leaders. In addition, the parties discussed the progress in the implementation of current military-technical projects, as well as a number of issues in the solution of which common grounds were found.
