Armourers Are Improving the Osa ADMS

2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC is completing the research and development work on the 9V914-1B alignment vehicle.

This product plays a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness of air defence systems. Its key tasks include aligning combat vehicles within the Osa air defence missile system (ADMS) and verifying the magnitude of error signals.

Thanks to the switch to a modern element base, the new product’s operational and technical specifications have been significantly improved. The current version is based on the MAZ-6317 vehicle. However, the design allows the equipment to be fitted to other types of base chassis, including trailers.

The development of a new adjustment vehicle forms part of a large-scale project to modernise the Osa ADMS comprehensively. Previously, specialists from 2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC had already successfully modernised the combat and transport-loading vehicles of this system.
