AGAT-Control Systems Signs Contract with China’s NCPE

Belarus-China cooperation is gaining momentum in all sectors of the economy, especially in the energy sector. On 29 October 2015, AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding and North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group (NCPE) signed a contract to supply equipment for the project “Construction of Nuclear Power Plant in Belarus. Energy Output and Grid Connection”, which is expected to be implemented during 2015-2016.
AGAT-Control Systems is to deliver equipment for the development of broadcast networks, as well as communication and electric power supply equipment under the contract.
AGAT-Control Systems and NCPE already have experience of successful and mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the end of December 2014, the companies signed their first contract to supply equipment for the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
The project “Construction of Nuclear Power Plant in Belarus. Energy Output and Grid Connection” is aimed at ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the country’s entire energy system and enhancing national energy security.
This project is one of the most important ones of China’s NCPE abroad. Much attention is paid to the implementation of the project at all levels of management and performance.
AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding is the main contractor for automatisation of the Belarusian electric power system’s facilities, including those operating at the national level. AGAT-Control Systems acts as a chief designer and general contractor to design and implement the automated electricity control and metering system of international and intersystem energy overflow and generation (ASKUE MMPG) and ASKUE of regional electric power systems, electric networks and their branches (regional ASKUEs).
