Accreditation Procedure of Structural Subdivisions of 558 ARP and AGAT-Control Systems Completed

Being a specially authorised body in the field of experimental aviation, Goscomvoyenprom together with the Belarusian State Centre for Accreditation (BSCA) has carried out accreditation of structural subdivisions of 558 Aircraft Repair Plant and AGAT-Control Systems, management company of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding.
On 24 June 2016, the certification test group of 558 Aircraft Repair Plant was accredited by BSCA to meet the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 17025-2007 (registration number: BY/112 2.4821) and in accordance with the Aviation Regulations for Certification of Experimental Aircraft, Aircraft Engines, Propellers, Airborne and Ground Aircraft Equipment and Experimental Aviation Simulators, developed in accordance with the Air Code of the Republic of Belarus, in July of this year began certification tests of an experimental aircraft prototype, its components and systems.
On 2 September 2016, the benchmark test division of the test and metrology department at AGAT-Control Systems was accredited by BSCA to meet the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 17025 in additional areas of activity – the UAS ground control unit, UAS ground control station.
This allows Goscomvoyenprom to fully carry out certification of experimental aircraft and other aviation activity (certification of activities, state registration of experimental aircraft and issuance of airworthiness certificates) in accordance with the current Belarusian legislation.
