558 Aircraft Repair Plant Director Pavel Pinigin Is Awarded with Honorary Titles “Person of the Year 2017” of Baranovichi and Brest Region.

Based on achieved results in the field of economy, finance and exports, honorary titles “Person of the Year 2017” of Baranovichi and the Brest Region were awarded to Pavel Pinigin, the director of 558 Aircraft Repair Plant JSC.
Under the leadership of the twice winner, the enterprise has been demonstrating stable growth rates and carrying out the main tasks within the framework of social and economic development forecast for many years.
   According to the results of 2017, 558 Aircraft Repair Plant JSC ensured high rates of economic growth. The growth rate of industrial output in current prices totalled 135 per cent. The exports of goods and services increased by 1.9 times as compared to 2016. The company made a net profit of 80.6 million rubles with a sales margin of 21.6 per cent. The average monthly salary of employees was 1377 rubles. At the same time, the growth rate of labour productivity by revenue per employee was higher than the growth rate of salary – the ratio of growth rates was 1.3. Revenue per employee amounted to 221 thousand rubles ($109.7 thousand dollars).
In total, 11 representatives of various branches of Baranovichi became prestigious titles winners.
Chairman of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee Yuri Gromakovsky thanked the leaders and personnel of companies, institutions and organisations for achieving high results.
The high-profile award ceremony took place on 19 May, at the beginning of “The Baranovichi Spring 2018” city festival.
Earlier, on 8 May, the solemn ceremony of honouring the winners of the competition was held in the Brest City Executive Committee. Due to the best results achieved in 2017 and carrying out the tasks within the framework of social and economic development forecast, some of them got on the honours board, the others were awarded with the honorary title of “Person of the Year 2017” of the Brest Region.
“All of you are united by the dedication to your profession,” Anatoly Lis, Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee, addressed to the leaders during the award ceremony. “Each of you is a master of his craft. Conscientious professionals, responsible people, social activists – you are some of the best talent in our region. Thanks to your work, mind and aptitude, the Brest Region is dynamically developing and achieving success in many branches of the national economy,” he added.
A total of 16 residents were awarded for their achievements and contribution to the economic growth with the honorary title “Person of the Year 2017” of the Brest Region.
“This is the collective merit. The most significant for us is to provide qualitative repair service of equipment. We also develop unmanned aircraft systems, aircraft defence systems. In addition, we are ramping up production of spare parts for civil and military aircraft,” the head of the Baranovichi enterprise noted.
