2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC Completes Development of Information System of 5937 Wheeled Chassis

In December 2017, 2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC completed the project on the development and production of a prototype of the information system of the 5937 wheeled chassis.
The plant produced a prototype and developed a set of working design documentation, which, following the tests, was assigned the letters O and then О₁.
The prototype of the information system is installed in the 5937 chassis of the 9A33-1B improved combat vehicle instead of the standard dashboard. Automation of control, diagnostics, information collection, processing and display has made it easier to control and simplify the operation of the wheeled chassis, as well as expand its functionality, intellectuality and safety.
The information system allows a driver to monitor operation modes of units with data display representation, automatically determine the current location of the chassis by signals of satellite navigation systems, orient the chassis and display the coordinates of its position on the electronic map, as well as diagnose the technical condition of units in operational and test modes. In addition, the system provides registration in the permanent memory of the characteristic parameters of performance and operating time of units, automation of troubleshooting using the interactive mode.
The system eliminates the need to monitor the chassis parameters by a driver, displays a recommendation or command, if necessary, on the display screen, which are duplicated by special colour signalling devices located in the driver’s field of vision.
