The enterprise was designed for military products and other specialised products (work, services). It was established on 27 May 2009

The main activity areas:

• the activity in relation to the products for dual-use or other products including manufacture, repair, upgrade, extension of the technical validity and disposal of arms, military and special equipment

• scientific research activity aimed at creating arms and munitions, spare parts, components, assemblies and equipment for them

• development and production of different electronic simulators, training systems and firing ground equipment, and in the coming future – the creation of a unified complex (for local computer network) that allows to combine different training systems (firing simulators, ATGM and MANPAD training systems and armoured vehicle simulators) for practicing actions of a section, a company, a battalion

• provision of satellite services to TV and radio broadcasting channels

Aside from this, Precise Electromechanics Factory Republican Production Unitary Enterprise is the main contractor for large-caliber MLRS production projects in the Republic of Belarus.
