Peleng JSC and BSTU Open New Laboratories on Knowledge Day

On 1 September 2026, state-of-the-art teaching laboratories established with the support of JSC Peleng were officially opened at the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU). The opening ceremony was attended by Pavel Pozdnyakov, Director General of JSC Peleng; Sergei Kasperovich, Rector of BSTU; and Nikolai Sheshko, Head of the Department of Science and Innovation at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

The new cluster comprises a student design bureau for unmanned aerial vehicles and aircraft construction, an educational and research laboratory for practical training in unmanned aerial systems, and a machining laboratory. All facilities are equipped with cutting-edge equipment and software, designed to train students on the degree program in 'Design and Technology of Unmanned Aerial Systems', which was launched at BSTU in 2025.

These new teaching facilities will enable students to engage directly with Peleng's development engineers, master the company's product development methodology, foster creative technical thinking, and solve complex industrial challenges — including those never before addressed in Belarus.

The launch of the laboratory cluster at BSTU contributes to strengthening the country's skills base and technological sovereignty. Students gain access to specialised equipment and real-world industrial tasks, while defence sector enterprises secure qualified specialists capable of immediately contributing to engineering projects.

This is not the first project of its kind. Educational laboratories supported by JSC Peleng have previously been established at the Belarusian National Technical University and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.
