New Production Facilities for High-Precision Optics

In Minsk, at the junction of Filimonova and Makayonka Streets, construction is continuing on a new five-storey building for the Optical Systems Design and Production Department of JSC Peleng. The floor slab for the fourth storey has already been laid, the installation of sandwich wall panels is underway, and work on the building’s structural framework is nearing completion.

At the same time, partition walls made of expanded clay concrete blocks are being erected on the second and third storeys of the building, and utility networks are being installed. The transformer substation has been fully fitted. Work is continuing on the installation of heating networks across the construction site, and the restoration of the site’s landscaping has begun.

Before the end of the year, the roof needs to be completed, and the windows and stained-glass glazing must be fitted. Another priority is to supply heating to the ground floor, which will enable internal finishing work to proceed comfortably during the winter months.

The new premises for Optical Systems represent one of JSC Peleng’s key projects this year. This state-of-the-art facility will bring together production, laboratory, and technical services, creating an optimal environment for the development and manufacture of complex optical instruments.

The construction of the new building is a prime example of how the State Authority for Military Industry is systematically expanding the production capacity and technological expertise of the country’s defence-industrial complex. Modernising the infrastructure of enterprises across the sector ensures that even the most complex tasks can be achieved, reinforcing national technological sovereignty.
