Large-Scale Shipment of Navigation Seals for International Transport Completed

AGAT – Control Systems JSC has completed the shipment of a large consignment of EPU-01 electronic sealing devices to the customer. The delivery was carried out in accordance with EAEU requirements regarding the mandatory fitting of high-tech monitoring devices to vehicles used for international freight transport.

The EPU-01 device is a smart navigation seal designed to ensure the total security of cargo during international road transit. Unlike traditional mechanical equivalents, the ‘electronic seal’ not only physically locks the container, but also monitors its integrity in real time throughout the journey. In the event of an unauthorised attempt to open the container or a deviation from the route, the device instantly records the breach and automatically transmits an alarm signal to the sealing operator’s system. Data is transmitted via digital cellular networks, eliminating the need for constant physical escorting of cargo and reducing logistics costs for carriers.

The automatic recording of events and transmission of data to the operator’s system eliminates human error when checking seal integrity, making the transport process as transparent as possible for regulatory authorities.

The use of navigation seals is stipulated by the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 4 July 2023. According to this document, all road freight transport within the EAEU must be equipped with electronic navigation devices manufactured exclusively within the member states of the Union.

To date, within the Eurasian Economic Union, only enterprises in the Russian Federation and a single Belarusian company—AGAT – Control Systems JSC—have mastered the mass production and deployment of such devices in significant volumes.

The delivery of this batch of EPU-01 devices confirms full technological sovereignty in this sector, guaranteeing independence from foreign suppliers of critical infrastructure.
