A Burst of Energy for New Professional Achievements

In late August, the traditional annual sports and camping rally for employees of organisations within the SAMI system took place.

Opening the event, Oleg Mishchenko, First Deputy Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI), read out a welcoming address to the participants from Dmitry Pantus, Head of the Agency: ‘I am confident that this event will not only identify the strongest teams, but will also help each of you build lasting friendships, energise you for new professional achievements, and bring our large workforce even closer together.’

The programme for the rally featured a host of engaging and original competitions. Participants competed in shooting, football, volleyball, and badminton, tested their skill and luck in fishing, and showcased their creative potential in the ‘Spot On’ performing arts contest. Naturally, the teams also tested their endurance in hiking, cycling, and water sports techniques. 

A standout highlight was the executive contest, in which company leaders proved their ability to lead by example in sport as well as in business.

In the overall team standings, victory went to the team from Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC. Second place was secured by AGAT-SYSTEM JSC, and third place went to AGAT – Control Systems JSC – Managing Company of Geoinformation Control Systems Holding.

Above all, the rally provided the arms industry employees with an opportunity to make new acquaintances and strengthened the bonds of friendship between teams and their families.
